MRS. LUDIE BELL COVINGTON

Suffolk, Oct. 20.-The funeral of Ludie Bell Covington, wife of A. B. Covington, were held this afternoon [21 Oct 1916] at the Suffolk Christian church, of which the deceased was an active member, at 3:30 o'clock, conducted the pastor of the church, Dr. W. W. Staley.

The choir sang the hymns "Abide with Me." "Rock of Ages" and the anthem, "Kissed the Angel of Peace." The flowers were unusually beautiful and profuse.

The pall-bearers were: Active--R. S. Pruden, L. R. Atkins, W. R. Eason, P. L. Rawles, M. M. Williams and W. R. Milterr.

Honorary--C. C. Rawles, A. A. Turner, Colonel E. Holland, W. G. Farrar, J. M. White, W. C. Howell, Hersey Woodward, B. D. Crocker, Colonel J. H. Macleary, C. A. Shoop, J. M. Butler, J. M. Darden, Alex Pearce, W. W. Ballard, E. W. Graham, H. S. Eley.

The Interment was made in Cedar HIll cemetery.
