SUFFOLK - Elizabeth ''Bunny'' Vick Oliver Hingerty, 85, died April 20, 2001. 
Mrs. Hingerty was the founder, owner and operator of Bunny's Restaurant for more than 40 years. Born in Conway, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Dock Vick and Stella Spence Vick. She was the widow of Mills H. Hingerty and was also predeceased by her first husband, Eddie Lee Oliver; a sister, Doris Jeanette Thomas; and three brothers, Lloyd Vick, Raymond Vick and Kelly Vick. She was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church. 
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Ann and Billy Byrd and Nell V. and Willie Evans Jr., all of Suffolk; stepdaughter and her husband, Becky and Jim Belvin of Stone Mountain, Ga.; stepsons and their wives, M.H. Hingerty III and Melba of Goose Creek, S.C., Randy and Cindy Hingerty of Chesapeake; grandchildren, Bradford and Susie Byrd, Jenell Evans-Klotz and Dennis Klotz, Marsha and Tony Geary, and Lee Evans; great-grandchildren, Kristy Byrd, Heather Geary, Christopher Evans, Jennifer Byrd, Travis Evans, Chelsea Geary and Abby Geary; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lessie V. and Ted Deanes of Murfreesboro, N.C., Frances V. Jones of Suffolk, and Mary Catherine and Gene V. Andrews of Toano, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Rueben and Della Vick of Gates County, N.C. 
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Jonathan Palmer. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may join family from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the residences of her daughters, Barbara and Billy Byrd, 407 Kilby Shores Drive and Nell and Willie Evans Jr., 1901 Wilroy Road (Bunny's Restaurant). 
Bunny's Restaurant, 1901 Wilroy Road, Suffolk, will be closed today, Sunday and Monday in memory of Mrs. Elizabeth ''Bunny'' Oliver Hingerty.

SUFFOLK - Elizabeth ''Bunny'' Vick Oliver Hingerty, 85, died April 20, 2001.

Mrs. Hingerty was the founder, owner and operator of Bunny's Restaurant for more than 40 years. Born in Conway, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Dock Vick and Stella Spence Vick.
