SUFFOLK - Nannie Taylor Blevins, 82, died Oct. 23, 2005, at her home.
Born May 16, 1923, in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, she was the
daughter of the late Robert J. and Annie Benton Taylor and widow of
Chelsea Orus "C O" Blevins. Mrs. Blevins was a retired registered nurse
and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia Blevins Taylor, Faye Blevins
Beale and husband Bobby, all of Suffolk; grandchildren, Kristin and Ryan
Beale; sisters, Helen Perry of Chesapeake, Elizabeth Britt of Walters;
and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the graveside in
Windsor Cemetery by the Rev. Dr. Bryan Ray. The family will receive
friends at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home today from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and
other times at her home. Memorial donations may be made to the American
Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.
