  SUFFOLK  Mary T. Lawson, 80, died Aug. 8.
  A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Raymond and Sarah Janie Harris Taylor and the widow of Arthur Ashby Lawson. Mrs. Lawson was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and the former owner and operator of several family businesses.  
 Survivors include her daughter, Linda Leigh Lawson of Richmond; her son, Ted R. Lawson and wife Donnaof Windsor; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
  A graveside funeral service was conducted Aug. 11 in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home handled arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Bethlehe Christian Church, 1549 Holland Road, Suffolk, Va., 23434 or the Nanemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439.
