Robert Lee Turner, 91, of 27568 Parson Drive, died March 2, 1996, in his home.
He worked for The Virginian Railroad from 1922 until 1932. He was a retired farmer. He was a former active member of Boaz Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Rhodes Turner, and three children, Mrs. Ellis L. "Jean" Joyner of Franklin, Mrs. Challis "Tink" Brinkley of Windsor, and Robert C. "Bobby" Turner of Franklin. He was predeceased by his daughter, Grace Loucile Turner. He also leaves seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today by the Rev. James B. Lambeth Jr. in Holland-Rideout Funeral Home, Franklin. Burial will be in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Windsor Rescue Squad.
