Estelle Raiford Turner, 94, died Friday, Feb. 20., 1998, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. 
A native of Ivor, she was the widow of W. Max Turner and the daughter of the late James E. Raiford and Bettie Story Raiford. She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church, the Ladies Bible Class and the WMU Society. 
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Anona Raiford of Norfolk; a nephew, George P. ''Pete'' Turner and wife, Gilda, of Boykins; and several cousins. 
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Boykins Baptist Church by the Rev. Benjamin Thomas. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins. Memorial donations may be made to Boykins Baptist Church or Boykins Volunteer and Rescue Squad.
