Helen Elizabeth Bloxom , 78, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Bloxom was a native of Nansemond County, Va., a member of Portsmouth Assembly of God, and employed with T.O. Williams in Portsmouth.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathryn E. Lawton of Virginia Beach; sons, Robert L. Phelps of Portsmouth and John E. Phelps of Chesapeake; six grandchildren, Debbie, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Teresa, Gregory and Mike; and great-grandson, Brandon Tyler Lewis.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Holland Cemetery, Holland, Va., by the Rev. Homer R. Peterson Jr. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m.
