Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 8, 1999 

Christina Marie Tracy, 4, died July 6, 1999, as the result of injuries received in a single vehicle accident in Southampton County near Capron. Born Sept. 13, 1994, in Portsmouth, she was the daughter of Angela Lynn Everding of Capron. 

Besides her mother, Christina is survived by her grandparents, Robert and Edna Wood; aunts, Patrice Ann Wood and Annette I. Holt and husband Jack R. Holt, all of Capron; three uncles, David A. Wood of Capron, Scott A. Wood of Stoney Creek and Gary R. Wood of Alabama; and several cousins. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins Chapel, by the Rev. Bob Worthy. Burial will be in Capron Cemetery . The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and again at 1 p.m. on Sunday, prior to the service. Friends who would like to make a contribution to the family in Christina Marie's memory to help defray the final expenses may contact her grandfather, Robert Wood, P.O. Box 161, Capron VA 23829.
