Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, March 31, 2003 

Mary Virginia Luter Carson, 82, wife of Charles C. Carson Jr., died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Courtland Health Care Center. 
   Mrs. Carson was a native of Nansemond County and a daughter of the late Rochelle and Georgie Holland Luther. Along with her husband, she operated the Carson Grocery Store on Route 189 in Suffolk. 
   A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. William Hawkins officiating. Mr. Carson will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.

Mary Virginia Luter Carson, 82, wife of Charles C. Carson Jr., died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Courtland Health Care Center.

Mrs. Carson was a native of Nansemond County and a daughter of the late Rochelle and Georgie Holland Luther. Along with her husband, she operated the Carson Grocery Store on Route 189 in Suffolk.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. William Hawkins officiating. Mr. Carson will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2003 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
