GENEVA LANKFORD CHANDLER

SUFFOLK - Geneva L. Chandler, 93, of the 100 block of Staley Drive, died Nov. 17, 2001, at East Pavilion, Franklin. 
She was a native of Isle of Wight County and the widow of Shelburn D. Chandler. She retired after 40 years of service from the Sandwich Department at Planters Co. She was a charter member and the oldest member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Suffolk. She was the daughter of the late William Thomas Lankford and Martha Anna Moore Lankford. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Jack Lankford, and a son, Frank Chandler. Survivors include grandchildren, Michael D. Chandler of Salem, Va., Steven S. Chandler of Los Osos, Calif., and Michelle L. Starnes of Edgeworth, Fla.; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk, by the Rev. Ben Fulton. Visitation will be at 1524 Wilkins Drive. Harrell and Hill Funeral Home and Cremation Services is serving the family.
