Virtley K. Bunch, 57, died Jan. 22, 2000, at Obici Hospital. 

Mrs. Bunch was a member of Liberty Springs Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her father, James C. Knight. 

Survivors include her husband, Wilbur Bunch; two children, Cindy Dundlow and Chris Bunch, both of Suffolk; her mother, Lucille Knight of Suffolk; four brothers, Lt. Col. Keith Knight of Roseville, Calif., Doug Knight of South Hill, J.C. Knight of Tennessee and Wayne Knight of Suffolk; and three grandchildren, Kimberly, Tommy Ray and Kristina. 

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Tommy Reynolds. Burial will be at Liberty Springs Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Obici Foundation, Better Breathers Support Group, c/o Educational Services, 1900 N. Main St., Suffolk, VA 23434.
