Hazel Odell Jones Glover, 74, of the 6300 block of Trumpet Drive, died June 20, 1997, in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. 

Born in Lunenburg County, Va., she was a homemaker and a member of Holland Baptist Church, Suffolk. She was the daughter of the late Clara Overby Jones and the late Willie Mae Jones. 
Survivors include her husband for 57 years, Patrick Henry Glover; a daughter, Carolyn Glover Bowden of Fairfax, Va.; a son, Morris Henry Glover Sr. of Suffolk; a sister, Marion Baucom of Rockwell, N.C.; grandchildren, Morris H. Glover Jr. of Suffolk, Nancy C. Glover of Chapel Hill, N.C., Christina E. Glover, Candice N. Glover, both of Suffolk, and Michael Handley of Fairfax. 
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in Harrell Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Ed Sunday-Winters and the Rev. Jamie Braswell. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery. The family will be at the home of her son, Morris H. Glover Sr., 101 Lakeview Court, Suffolk. Contributions may be made to The Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, 428 Market St., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
