 Eleanor Jeanette Felts died April 24, 1997, at Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. 
Miss Felts, formerly of Northern Virginia, was born in Baltimore and was the daughter of Mae Miller Felts and the late John Conwell Felts. Miss Felts was a graduate of Madison College (now JMU), Harrisonburg, Va., and received a master's degree from the University of Virginia. She had retired as a teacher in Fairfax, Va., and was a member of High Hills Baptist Church, Jarratt, Va. 
Besides her mother, she is survived by two brothers, William C. Felts of Quakersville, Pa., and Frederick W. Felts of Boykins; two nieces and three nephews. 
A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. Ben Thomas. The family will receive friends at the residence, 28427 Clarksbury Road, Boykins, and suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Ruth Petty, 116 Southampton Road, Franklin, Va. 23851. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge.
