Cleta Carter ''Jackie'' Bradshaw, 84, died April 5, 1999.
A native of Holmes County, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Lewis Thomas and Lula Blankenship Carter and widow of Herbert Adolphus Bradshaw Jr. Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and Gates Couples Club.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Audrey P. Smith and Elaine P. and James T. Salmon, all of Suffolk; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Oxford United Methodist Church by the Rev. George H. Close Jr. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times in her home. Memorial donations may be made to Oxford United Methodist Church, 601 W. Washington St., Suffolk, Va., 23434, or to the American Heart Association, 360 Southport Circle, Suite 104, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
