 Emelyn Hart Tillery, 80, died Feb. 13, 1998. 
A native of Littleton, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Arthur Bernard and Lina Sue Bryant Hart. Mrs. Tillery was a member of West End Baptist Church. 
Survivors include her husband, Hubert Cale Tillery; her son and daughter-in-law, David Earl and Kathy Tillery of Franklin; her sister, Mamie H. Forbes of Franklin; her grandchildren, John Tillery and Karen Tillery of Franklin. 
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in West End Baptist Church by the Rev. T. Floyd Irby. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The family will receive friends in R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 902 Pennsylvania Ave., Suffolk, Va. 23434, or the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23439.
