Jeanette Gulliver Poland, 61, died June 16, 2000, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Poland was born in Ferndale, Mich., a daughter of the late Reginald and Lillian Fett Gulliver. She was a member of Boykins United Methodist Church and a graduate of Paul D. Camp College.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Robert Bascom Poland; a daughter, Amee Jeanette Poland of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; a son, Robert Chet Poland and his wife, Connie, of Boykins; four grandchildren, Robert Chet Poland Jr., Casey Jeanette Darden, Travis Reed Darden and Richard W. Poland. Mrs. Poland was predeceased by two sisters, Muriel G. Pritchard and Rita Gulliver.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, with the Rev. Raymond McGarr officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home, Boykins, and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Huntington Disease Research Foundation, 158 West 29th St., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001-5300.
