MARY VIRGINIA FOWLER BEACHAM

Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, August 14, 2003 

Mary Virginia Fowler Beacham, 77, died Aug. 12, 2003 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton, she was the daughter of the late Algie Fowler and Ruby Whitley Story and the widow of Vernon S. Beacham. She was a retired quality control technician with Union Camp Corporation with 30 years service. Mrs. Beacham was a member of the Women of the Moose, the Coast Guard Auxiliary and was a Baptist. 
   Survivors are a daughter, Shirley B. Yanna and a son, Vernon S. "Bobo" Beacham Jr., both of Franklin; two brothers, Walter Story of Warrenton and George Fowler of Suffolk; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Jason Yanna. 
   A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. James W. Browder III officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wright Funeral Home and suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. Ruth Petty, 112 Southampton Road, Franklin, VA 23851.

Mary Virginia Fowler Beacham, 77, died Aug. 12, 2003 at Southampton Memorial Hospital.
