FAYE DAUGHTREY TURNER

Faye Daughtrey Turner departed this life on Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
A native of Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Edwin P. Daughtrey Sr. and the late Beulah Hare Daughtrey. She had retired as the manager of Shoe Show with 20 years of service. She was a former employee of Leggett Department Store and attended Franklin Congregational Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, O. Fennon Turner; three sons, Michael P. Turner and wife, D.D., Mark A. Turner and wife, Waunda, and David F. Turner and wife, JoAnne, all of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Heather Pandrea and Erica Gaines, both of Richmond, Justin Rainey, M. Ryan Turner, Hannah Turner, Joshua Turner and Denney Turner, all of Franklin; four great-grandchildren, Justin Turner, Jessica Turner, Meghan Gaines and Allie Gaines, all of Richmond; four brothers, Edwin P. Daughtrey Jr., Mills P. Daughtrey and Thomas E. Daughtrey, all of Franklin and Raymond B. Daughtrey of Suffolk; and two sisters, Ann O'Brien of Franklin and Gladys Atkins of Midlothian, Va. Mrs. Turner was predeceased by a son, Daniel P. Turner and a sister, Nell D. Story.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and other times at the residence, 609 N. Clay St.
