FRANKLIN - Carolyn Louise Arrington Clifford, 66, died Aug. 17, 2002, in Norfolk General Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Charles J. Arrington Sr. and Mabel Galtress Arrington, and a retired quality control inspector for Union Camp Corporation.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Clifford and his wife Teresa of Carrsville, Frankie Clifford and his wife Lisa of Franklin, and William Clifford and his wife Christina of Kingsdale; two sisters, Inell Rutledge of Carrsville and Tena Goodson of Franklin; a brother, Charles J. Arrington Jr. of Courtland; seven grandchildren, David, Palmer, Michael, Cheyenne, Bryan and Will Clifford and William Larry Vanhorn Jr. She was predeceased by a brother, H. Eugene Arrington.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home, and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Heart Association, c/o June Duck, 27351 Delaware Road, Franklin, VA 23851.
