Mrs. Vera Bryant Williams, 92, widow of James Corbitt Williams Sr., died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998. 

She was the daughter of the late James Walter Bryant and Eva Gillette. 

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Eva W. and Ellis P. Cobb; her son and daughter-in-law, James C. Patricann M. Williams; and a sister, Frances B. Savage; a brother, Gillete T. Bryant Sr.; six grandchildren, Patti Cobb Story, E. Poe Cobb Jr., Jay Williams, Craig Williams, Nannette Williams Carr and Janie Bryant Williams; and seven great-grandchildren. 

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Capron United Methodist Church by the Rev. Lowell Stovall. Interment will be in Capron Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capron or Drewryville United Methodist Church Children's Dept. or Capron Volunteer Rescue Squad.
