  SUFFOLK  Martha Babb Wroton, 69, of the 100 block of Beechwood Drive, died May 17, 2002 in her residence.
  She was a native of Nansemond County, Va., and was the widow of Raymond Aubrey Wroton Sr. She retired as an electric eye operator with Tidewater Blanching Co. She was a Baptist by faith and was the daughter of the late Lycurgos Babb and Martha R. Harris Babb.
  Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnne W. and Al York of Appomattox, Va., and Deborah W. and Wilbur Moore of Suffolk; sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond A. Wroton, Jr. and wife Sharon Wroton, Michael Wroton and David and Dawn Wroton, all of Suffolk: 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen B. Greene and Jean B. Simpkins, both of Suffolk; brothers, Frank E. Babb Sr., Arthur S. Babb and John E. Babb, all of Suffolk, and Ralph O. Babb of Franklin; and a special friend, Winfred Carter of Suffolk.
  A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of Harrell & Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Ray Hampton. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Wilbur Moore, 107 Beechwood Drive.
