NEWSOMES, Va. Mrs. Zulie Ann Carter Worrell, 96, foster mother of Shirley E. Culpepper of Newport News, died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.

Additional survivors include two sisters, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Newsomes United Methodist Church, Newsomes, by the Rev. Arthur Greene. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsomes.

McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, Va., is in charge.
