FAYETTEVILLE - The funeral for L. F. Worrell, retired chief of the Fayetteville Police Deptartment, will be at 11 a.m. today. He died Wednesday at 67.

The funeral will be at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park.

He is survived by his widow, Grace T. Worrell; son, Flint Worrell of Fayetteville; daughters, Julia Eller of Pearisburg, Va., Lucinda Manska of Detroit, Mich.; mother, Clara Worrell of Newsoms, Va.; brothers, C.T. of Fayetteville, Fred of Newsoms, Va., Bobby Worrell c of Franklin, Va.; sister, Mrs. Leroy Dail of Newsoms, Va.
