Carr, 67, widow of John T. Carr, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. L. Johnson, of Carrsville, after an illness of a few months. Mrs. Carr was the daughter of the late John R. and Antionette Harris Winborne, of Isle of Wight County. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Surviving besides Mrs. Johnson are three daughters, Mrs. A. E. Bradshaw of Norfolk, Mrs. A. C. Darden, of Carrsville, and Mrs. Lillie Bradshaw of Carrsville; five sons, J. W. Carr, of Baltimore, J. T. Carr of Newport News, M. V., Pressley and Eugene Carr, all of Carrsville; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchilden. The body was taken to the funeral home of W. J. M. Holland and Sons of Franklin and on Wednesday will be taken to Antioch Christian Church [near Windsor, Virginia] one hour prior to services. Funeral sevtces will he conducted Wednesday at 3 p. m. by the Rev. R. E. Brittle and the Rev. Jack Boyles. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
