He was a member of Franklin Moose Lodge #1573, a former member of Courtland Masonic Lodge, AF & AM #85, and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lorraine "Nippy" Wilson. Survivors include his wife, Bernice C. Wilson; two sons, Ernest N. "Skip" Wilson Jr. of Franklin and Sidney E. Wilson of Courtland; one stepson, Wayne L. Carr of Zuni; two stepdaughters, Anita C. Magette and Kathy C. Bryant, both of Windsor; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Courtland Baptist Church by Dr. Gary Powell. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.
