Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bob Bauer and Jerry Parmer officiating. Mr. Wilkinson was born in San Angelo on October 19, 1926. He retired from the Navy following 20 years of active service, during which time he served in World War 11 and the Korean War. Following his retirement, he moved back to San Angelo where he later bought Deluxe Dry Cleaners and operated it until April, 1982. Mr. Wilkinson was a member of the Lions Club and the Vice President of the Wool Capital Region AACA. Survivors include his wife, Volita; three sons, Wayne Wilkinson of Portsmouth, Virginia, Harry Wilkinson of Portsmouth, Virginia and Terry Wilkinson of Plano, Tx.; three daughters, Marie Whitfield of Portsmouth, Virginia, Ramona Brunson of Bronte, and Anita Danaher of Hamshire, TX.; one sister, Jessie Melton of San Angelo; one brother, John Wilkinson of San Angelo; and nine grandchildren.
