Virginia Beach － Jane Darden White, 91, passed away on December 27, 2022 in Virginia Beach.  Born and raised in Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late John Barham Darden and Virginia Presson Darden.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Thomas Donald White and her sister, Virginia Darden.  

Jane was a graduate of Norview High School in Norfolk and attended Longwood College.  She was a retired secretary for the Department of the Army and a former receptionist for Niles Hair Salon.

Survivors include two sons, Leslie Darden White (Sherry) and John Thomas White (Marie) and grandchildren, Joel White (Rachel), Darian Horta-Ortiz (Lizeth), Isabella White, Michael Brite, Renee Galloway (Paul), Ashley Brite (Willie).

A private Graveside Service will be held with the family at Hollywood Cemetery in Newsoms.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to a mission of your choice in her memory.
