Carr, young wife of W. E. Carr, died this morning at 9:45 o'clock, in the twenty third year of her age, having been ill for a number of weeks with typhoid fever at her home in Magnolia, Nansemond county. She is survived by her husband, W. E. Carr; children, Gladys and Lawson Carr; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. West of Magnolia; four brothers and one sister. The body will be brought to Suffolk Thursday morning 4 Sep 1913 and carried over the Seaboard Air Line to Carrsville. The funeral services will be held from Beaver Dam church at 11:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
