JOHN BELIN WATSON  

John Belin Watson, 54, died suddenly at his home on Clay Street early Friday morning. He was the husband of Mrs. Ella Wade Watson and the son of Mrs. Mamie B. Watson of Warren, Ark., and the late F. G. Watson. Mr. Watson was an employee of Union Bag Camp Corp. in the Forestry Department. He was a native of Arkansas and had lived in Franklin for the past 20 years. He was a member of the High Street Methodist Church.  

Surviving, besides his wife and mother, are one daughter, Mrs. Joan W. Belote of Cape Charles; three sons, J. Belin Watson Jr. of Fishburne Military Academy, Waynesboro; George Wade Watson and Frank G. Watson of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Wallace D. Hurley of Camden, Ark., and Mrs. Lawton Green of Leland, Miss.; and three grandchildren.
