Norma Cline Warren Obituary Norma Jean Cline Warren, 89 of Suffolk, VA passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024. Born in Hickory, NC, she was the daughter of the late Glenn L. Cline and Glennie L. Cline. Norma was also predeceased by her husband, Howard R. Warren; sister, Wanda Cline Taylor; brother, Ronald K. (Buddy) Cline; and dear friend, Inge Barrett. She is survived by her son, Timothy James and wife Nancy; stepsons, Michael R. Warren and Russell H. Warren; sons-in-law, Leonard and Bruce, sister-in-law, Helen Tuttle; grandchildren, Brandon James (Kirstie), Brett James (Marisa), Blake James (Katherine), Nicoala Shiflet, and Staci Phillips (Alex); great grandchildren, Annalee, Michael, Joshua, Justin, Cooper, Henry, Grace and Scottie; sisters, Barbara Cline Ryder and husband Bobby, and Gail Cline Jackson and husband Jack; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. As a child, she and her family moved to Portsmouth, VA. She graduated from Cradock High School. She retired from Tidewater Community College. Norma Jean loved spending time with her family and friends, especially sharing a meal. She had a special gift to make her family and friends feel loved and special. Another gift was her fashion sense and decorating her home. She was an avid reader, especially author, James Patterson. She also sang in her church choir. She loved to travel and spoke often about her trips to Europe with her family.
