Mrs. Wallace was born in Norfolk County and had retired from Hofheimer's Shoe Stores. She was a member of Norview Baptist Church, Norfolk, and Women of the Moose Chapter 157. Survivors include her husband, Charles Reynolds Wallace Jr.; one daughter, Catherine J. Capps of Manassas, VA; two sons, Dennis L. Culpepper Jr. of Denver and Wayne Ray Culpepper of Elizabeth City; two sisters, Juanita H. Gore of Norfolk and Pauline H. Jernigan of Chesapeake; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Deborah M. Hill, and two stepsons, Charles E. Wallace and Thomas Lee Wallace, all of Chesapeake. A graveside service will be conducted Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. James A. Bradshaw.Women of the Moose rites will be accorded at the grave.
