WILLIAM JAMES WADE SR

SMITHFIELD, VA-William James Wade Sr, 70, went to be with the Lord, Monday, 19 August 2013 at Duke Medical Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, and his son and daughter, J.J. and Michele.

James was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory his best friend and wife of 22 years, Connie; sister, Marilyn Kay Bracey; brother, Ben Wade; two step children, Candi and Jody; 8 grandchildren; his special nephew, Buck Wade; numerous nieces and nephews, and his 3 beloved dogs, Bubba, Bo Bo, and Miss Tillie.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, 21 August 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home from 6:00-7:30pm. Funeral service will be held Thursday, 22 August 2013, 2:00pm, at Uzzells United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Uzzells United Methodist Church, CO Treasurer, Kay Bracey, 15208 Bowling Green Road, Windsor, VA 23487.

Arrangements are in the care of Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, VA.
