WINDSOR - A funeral for Buxton Herbert Wade Sr., who was shot to death Saturday, 27 January, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in I.O. Hill and Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton. Burial will be in Uzzelle Methodist Church Cemetery, Isle of Wight County.

Mr. Wade, 34, of 5444 Pruden Blvd., Windsor, was a native of Franklin and was owner and operator of Wade Upholstery Shop in Windsor.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Crumpler Wade; a daughter, Miss Melinda Lois Wade; and three sons, Buxton Herbert Jr., Ronald Linwood, and Kenneth Allen Wade, all at home; his father, James Herbert Wade of Conway, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. William Bracey of Windsor; two brothers, Benjamin Hassell Wade of Windsor and William James Wade of Conway.
