BENJAMIN H. WADE, JR.

IVOR - Benjamin H. Wade, Jr., 41, died March 2, 2008. A native of Virginia, he was the son of Gladys M. Wade and Benjamin H. Wade, Sr. and was preceded in death by his sisters, Sheila W. Mumford and Donna W. Dignard. He was owner of Wade's Tree Service.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rachelle W. "Shellie" Wade; daughter, Shannon Marie Wade; son, Benjamin H. Wade, III; stepchildren, Kristie Nichole Cook, Lacey Marie Boyd; step-grandchildren, Zachery Scott Salmon, Alexis Nichole Cook, Haliegh Jae Maynard; sisters, Tina Snyder, Mary K. Carey; half-sister, Nichole Wade; half-brother, Clinton Wade; grandmother, Edith Segnor; special friend, Joe Cook; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008, at the graveside in Uzzell United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Tommy Reynolds.
