He was the son of the late Samuel Earl Vick and Willie Mae Hill Vick and was also predeceased by his daughter, Tracy Lynn Rollins and a sister Carole Vick. He was a graduate of Boykins High School, attended VMI and was a graduate of the Newport News Apprentice School. He was an Army Veteran and a machinist for 32 years at Newport News Shipbuilding and Naval Aviation Depot in Norfolk. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Richard Vick of Windsor and Geoffrey Vick (Belinda) of Florence, Alabama, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins with the Rev.
