She was the wife of the late John F. Vick and a member of the Newsoms Baptist Church and the Missionary Society. Surviving her are five daughters: Mrs. Dolly Ainsley of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Mrs. Pouline Baugham of Newsoms, Mrs. Virginia Blythe of Franklin, Mrs. Gladys Larson of Newport News, and Mrs. Betty Warren of Suffolk; two sons: Currey Lee Vick of Newsoms and Purvis Vick of Newport News; three stepchildren: Ruben Vick of Newport News, Ernest Vick of Boykins, and Mrs. Fannie Turner of Portsmouth; four sisters: Mrs. Lula Babb of Tennessee, Mrs. Bessie Bryant of Boykins, Mrs. Carrie Rice of Richmond, and Mrs. Ruth Saunders of Emporia; three brothers: Charlie Vick of Emporia, Claude Vick of Washington, and Moseley Vick of Arizona; and 14 grandchildren.
