He was predeceased by his mother, Susan Worsham Vick. Doug was a 1986 graduate of Franklin High School and received an Associate‚Äôs Degree from Chowan University. He was an Eagle Scout, a former safety coordinator for International Paper, and was the manager of Fastenal Company in Suffolk. He is survived by his father, Jesse Alton "Sonny" Vick, Jr.; two brothers, David Craig Vick (Michelle) of Brodnax and Brian Keith Vick (Kristene) of Shawboro, NC; a niece, Trenity Vick; and three nephews, Brycen Vick, Blake Vick, and Thomas Kirk, Jr. A Graveside Service will be held at 2PM Sunday, October 16, 2022 in Poplar Spring Cemetery off of Homestead Lane in Franklin with Rev.
