She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise V. Farrar (Jack); and daughter-in-law, Jo Anne C. Hackworth. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Kenneth L. Hackworth; sons, Dennis R. Hackworth and Steven K. Hackworth (Debbie); daughter, Amy E. Jennings (Randy); four grandchildren, Benjamin (Erika), Adam, Kristin (Adam) and Christopher; great-grandchildren, Alasdair and Breiton; brother, Sonny Viar (Phyllis); as well as many relatives and friends, including James, Jaime, Hannah, Tyler, Landon and Cooper. Mrs. Hackworth was a member of Bethany Place Baptist Church, where she was very active in Bible study and other church activities. Her family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a funeral ceremony will take place 10 a.m. Monday, followed by interment at 3 p.m. in Fort Hill Memorial Park in Lynchburg.
