James Andrew Vaughan 5 SEP 1887 - 26 NOV 1956 FRANKLIN, Nov. 26.- James Andrew Vaughan, 69, prominent attorney of New York and Greenwich, Conn., former resident of Franklin died early morning at the Greenwich Hospital after an illness of many weeks. Vaughan was the husband of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Voyd Vaughan of Greenwich and son of the late James Buchanan and Ida Rawls Vaughan of Franklin. A member of the Second Congregational Christian Church of Greenwich, he was a veteran of World War I. Surviving him are one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Vaughan of Alexandria, and one brother, Lillian L. Vaughan of Raleigh, N. C. The body will be brought to Franklin on Wednesday to the Holland Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Thursday 2 p.m. by the Rev. Gaylord B. Noyce and the Rev. Tucker Humphries. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
