MRS. EUNICE UMPHLETTE 

Mrs. Eunice Munford Umphlette, 70, of Route 1, Zuni, Va., mother of Sharon U. Laing of Greensboro, died Wednesday in a Franklin, Va., hospital. Funeral will be at 3 Friday at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church in Zuni, of which she was a member.

Mrs. Umphlette, a retired U.S. Postal Service clerk, taught Sunday school at her church for more than 25 years. 

Other survivors are daughters, Joyce U. Neighbours and Kathleen U. Lewison; brother, Benjamin Arthur Munford Jr.; stepbrother, Henry E. Bradshaw; six grandchildren. 

The family will be at the home of Joyce U. Neighbours, 73 E. Windsor Blvd., Windsor, Va. Purviance Funeral Home in Wakefield, Va., is in charge of arrangements.
