SHEPHERD Charles George Umphlett Jr., 45, of Shepherd, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings. He was born Oct. 26, 1961, in Baltimore, the son of Charles and Catherine (Behnke) Umphlett Sr. On Nov. 28, 1994, he was united in marriage to Emily Chew. 

Charles is survived by his father; two brothers; sons Joshua and A.J. Umphlett; and daughter Talisyn Umphlett, a grandson, Joshua Umphlett Jr. was born May 6, 2007. He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife Emily. 

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral & Cremation Service.
