MRS. L. W. THORPE

Lake City, Feb. 12.—Special: Mrs. L. W. Thorpe, of Lake City, died late last night at her home here after a lingering illness. She was Miss Nan Drenan, formerly of Greenwood, and has lived in Lake City for the last eighteen years.

Surviving are her husband, two step-children, Miss Mary Benton Thorpe, of Lake City, and Corporal Rayford Thorpe, of the army; two brothers, Henry Drenan, of Elvington, Ga, and J. H. Drenan, of Woodruff, and one sister, Mrs. W. S. Drake, of Greenwood.

Funeral services will be held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
