John C. Thomason  

VERDA - Services for John C. Thomason will be at 11 a.m. today in Mars Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. H. B. Ward officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern, Winnfield.  

Thomason, 75, of Montgomery, died at 7:55 a.m. Sunday in Ascension General Hospital, Gonzales.  

Survivors include his wife, Delta Thomason of Montgomery; five sons, Caldene Thomason of Gonzales, Marlon Thomason of Neptune, New Jersey, and Robert Thomason, J.C. Thomason Jr., and Donald Thomason, all of Verda; one daughter, Alice Austin of Winnfield; two stepsons, Ray McManus of Atlanta and Hugh of Verda; one stepdaughter, Carolyn Harlan of Winnfield; 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. today in the funeral home and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. today in the church.
