Obituary of Doris Maybell Thomas 23 AUG 1909 - 22 JUN 1995 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WILLS, Doris Maybelle Thomas, 85, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, June 22, 1995. Mrs. Wills was a 1926 graduate of Jefferson High School and during World War II she worked for the War Department in Portsmouth, Va. She was an active lifetime member of West Minister Presbyterian Church in America and until recently, she had been active in T. O. P. S. for 20 years. She was a retired secretary from St. Paul Insurance Company and was the widow of Marion R. Wills. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Jean Wills, Vinton, Jim and Geri Wills, Columbia, S.C.; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; her sister, Hilda T. Howard, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel Saturday, June 24, 1995, at 12 noon with the Rev. Jim Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park.
