William C. Taylor HOLLAND, July 31 - William Crowder Taylor, 81, retired Nansemond County farmer, died Tuesday at 10.40 p.m. at the of his son, F. Royal Taylor. He was the husband of the late Hattie Lelia Taylor, son of the late Jacob Taylor and Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Taylor of Gates, N.C., and member of of Liberty Spring Christian Church. In addition to his son, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Jones of Whaleyville and Mrs. Gladys Arline of Suffolk; a granddaughter, Mrs. Wesley Eure of Gates and a great-granddaughter, Miss Nancy Eure of Gates. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Raymond Phelts, pastor of Liberty Spring Christian Church, and the Rev. R. E. Brittle, pastor of Bethlehem Christian Church. Burial will be in Liberty Spring Church cemetery. Members of the family will be at home of F. Royal Taylor in Holland.
