Mrs. Walter Hermans (Josephine Swetalla) 426 N. 28th St., Milwaukee and Rt. 2, Hilbert Age 51, passed away at her home in Milwaukee on Monday, 14 October 1968, after a long illness. She was born 1 June 1917 in the Town of Lanark. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church of Lima in Milwaukee.

Survivors are her husband, Walter; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Stark, Lawrence, Kansas; Miss Carrol Hermans, Ballston Spa, New York; Miss Kathleen Hermans, Milwaukee; three brothers, Mr. William Swetalla, Amherst; Mr. Harry Swetalla, Wittenberg; and Joe Swetalla, California; two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Sommers, Amherst; Mrs. Amelia Murphy, Milwaukee; and one grandchild.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Thursday at the Fargo Funeral Home, Stockbridge, and a rosary will be prayed at 8 o'clock Thursday evening, 17 October 1968.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Friday morning, 18 October 1968, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Stockbridge, and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
