Maggie Lee State 11 AUG 1880 - 21 AUG 1938 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Maggie State Brock Franklin, Aug. 21. - (Special) Mrs. Maggie State Brock, aged 58, wife of Noah H. Brock, died at the family residence at Windsor this afternoon [21 Aug 1938] at 1:30 o'clock after an illness of three weeks. Besides her husband, Mrs. Brock is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E. C. Williams and Mrs. Anna Carr, both of Windsor; five sons, Linwood Brock, of Carrsville, Gavin, Raymond and William Brock, of Zuni, and Marshall Brock, of Windsor; a sister, Mrs. Walter Meagher, of Beaumont, Tex. and a brother, Charles H. State, of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon [22 Aug 1938] at 4:30 o'clock at Beaver Dam Baptist Church by the Rev. Gordon L. Price, assisted by the Rev. J. T. Garland Moore. Burial will be In the church cemetery.
