Left to cherish his memory is his mother Grace Modlin Skinner of Suffolk, one daughter Stacey B. Degaraff (Paul) of Chesapeake, two sons, Gary Lee Skinner, Jr. (Connie) of Suffolk and David (Scott) Skinner (Marlene) of Franklin, one brother, Earl B. Skinner, Jr. of Suffolk, six grandchildren, Richard, Matthew, Jordan, Brooklynne, Michelle and Devin. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Wright Funeral Home, 206 West 4th Ave., Franklin with the Rev. Dr. Donald R. Rhoton officiating.
