Jessie Simmons Obituary Jessie Mae Simmons May 20, 1920 - October 4, 2014 Courtland- Jessie Mae Davis Simmons,94, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John K. Davis and Grady Belle Flythe Davis and was the wife of the late Malcolm Davis Simmons. Mrs. Simmons was a member of Sebrell United Methodist Church, the Sebrell Womens Club and was retired as a receptionist for Dr. Frank Daughtrey, Jr. in Courtland. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Jeri Simmons Daniel (Danny) and a son, Billy Brian Simmons both of Courtland, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Riverside Cemetery officiated by Rev. Rita Kanten.
