He was the son of the late Carroll Vernon and Rachel Lee Scott. Ritchie was raised and educated in Franklin and following discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps, graduated from the Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved son, Ritchie, Jr. and two sisters, Carole Lee McLean and Virginia Clarice Scott. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary, daughter, Beth Scott Keffer, son, Tim and wife Priscilla and grandchildren, Billy, Courtney, Jenna and Dara Keffer and Jonathan Scott. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening between 7:00 and 8:30 PM at Wright Funeral Home. A private family funeral will be held the following day at the family plot.
